I grew up in nearby Salem, SD. While at McCook Central I was part of the basketball, football, and track team.

After graduating from McCook Central I spent a year at Dakota Wesleyan University on the men's basketball team before finishing my teaching degree at Dakota State University.

I spent my first two years at Tri-Valley as the Junior High Special Education teacher before moving over to Elementary Physical Education to start the 2019-2020 school year. I have always had a passion for health, physical fitness, and athletics. I am excited for this new part of my teaching journey!

I will also be entering my 6th season as the JH boys basketball coach, and 2nd season as a JH Track coach.
